Here are some random ones. Enjoy!
Last week someone asked which photo editing program I use: It’s Photoshop CS3. I don’t think there were any other questions. But from now on, I’ll try to answer questions and such in my next entries. Happy November!

On my dad's birthday I went to a pond and watched ducks. It had nothing to do with my dad.

The Tuesday Sky

I made, and loved, Red Velvet cupcakes. First time ever!

The rose my husband gave me has died. It's more beautiful now, I think.

More rain, again.

Companions... this is how they landed in the rain.

Leaves in a plastic tray on the back porch, in the rain.
And now.. how I spent my Halloween.

I played Yahtzee by myself. I did not do well.

I gutted a pumpkin for the sole purpose of roasting the seeds.

Then I carved it. And wondered why pumpkin pie isn't a Halloween tradition.

And then I suddenly remembered I was given a used polaroid camera for my birthday, so I took a picture of the pumpkin with the polaroid, too.

I haven’t posted winners in a long time, probably over a month. Yikes. So I’m being very selective in what I show.
I took portraits of my siblings last weekend. You can see Bryan here, Samantha here, and Allison here.
First, two out-takes from portrait sessions that I fell in love with.

Way too overexposed, but it's my 10 year-old sister.

And my brother, senior photos session two, playing with fire instead of standing still.

Yesterday was my 26th birthday! My husband surprised me with a trip to the salon, where I let him decide what they should do to my hair.

The view out the window from my mother's basement.

My favorite photo from my brother's senior session.

My favorite from my 10-year-old sister's photo session. Though, the next week she cut off 8 inches or more of her hair.

My favorite from my 13-year-old sister's photo session.

A few months ago, I took photos of my sisters and I with Lollipops, in this fashion, very over exposed and we were not in focus. My mom loved them, and wanted my brothers and my husband to have similar photos, with a gun scope. Here's my brother.

One day I came home and all the leaves were on the tree in my front yard. I woke up the next morning and they were ALL fallen.

Fall and rain makes for beautiful photography.

I won this masterpiece, created by 1 year-olds, at an auction at work, to sponsor the United Way. I love it. And I know all the children who painted it.

I broke another wine glass.
I have so many more, check out my flickr stream.

I’m in a bad mood but I wanted to get these up anyway.

My husband and I took our beagles, Wendell and Vivian, on a walk at the nature trail. They really enjoyed looking out over the water on the bridge.

There were these fantastic yellow flowers that were fading to white.

And of course, plants gone to seed.

I love the way the algaea looked on the stream.

It got so cold I had to wear a sweatshirt to work.

My concrete driveway battle-wound is healing nicely. Almost one week later, this is all that remains. I even had my band-aid off for much of the day. I let it get infected so a piece of the driveway would naturally make it's way out of the gash. Worked like a charm. Now it's time to actually heal. And my hands are not pretty, but whatever.

Still trying to finish "Little Women." I Love it, but it's long.

I opened a bag of popcorn to eat, and remembered I don't really like popcorn that much.

Meet Ivy, the newest addition to my husband and my musical ensemble. I call her Ivy because the case she came with has Ivy Green lining. She's beautiful, and sounds like a dream. We couldn't resist the great deal.

More details from our girl.

Aside from last Sunday, the week was pretty boring. So let’s have a Piano Party today.
The SD Symphony is sponsoring a city-wide display of playable artist pianos. My husband is a phenomenal, self-taught, one-year-experienced pianist. So, I planned a day’s rendezvous to play them and capture them photographically.
I found the 9th piano on Tuesday.
Okay so my internet window crashed and didn’t save, so now I’m going to show only a few select ones, and give you this link to see all the photos from the piano rendezvous. Enjoy!

"Solar Wind" artist Robert Ruf. My husband played this piano first.

"Creation Story," Artist Robert Ruf

My husband plays the "Boogie Woogie Time Machine," by Artist Chad Lubbers

"Boogie Woogie Time Machine" is my favorite piano from the set.

"Zydeco Queen" by Artist Nathan Holman. This piano was unplayable.

"Neopsychedeliccolorfield" by Artist Tyanne Pearson, a very colorful, playable piano.

"Neopsychedeliccolorfield" by Artist Tyanne Pearson

"The Grand Falls," By Artists Jessica Jirsa & Kelsie Thomas

"The Grand Falls," By Artists Jessica Jirsa & Kelsie Thomas

"Take Me Out to the Ballgame," Artist Bernie Schramm

My husband really enjoyed playing this piano at Canaries Stadium.

The piano at the stadium had some American Flags on it.

"Friends of the Earth," by Artist Tracey Peterson. This piece was at the zoo. Very cute.

My husband plays the piano at the zoo.

"Stop the Press" by Artist Ron the Robot, was located at Terrace Park, sort of. That's what it said, but we couldn't find it on Sunday. It was more at the pool than the actual park. Frustrating. I found it alone on Tuesday.

It was a mostly lame week, again. I actually not fond of most of the photos, but that’s what we get. When my husband is out of the shower though, we’re going on an around-town piano hunt.

This is what the sky looked like one day, after I brought the photo home and used "auto levels."

I realized that the gas gauge in my husband's car reads backward from my own, and I wasn't really on almost empty the last half of the week.

My brother-in-law, who lives in my basement, left me some fruit when he went to Iowa for the weekend.

I spent a lot of time at stop-lights.

My husband and I double-dated our married friends and went Downtown for the evening last night, for live music, including a Jazz band.

I lost, and found, my phone.

I hung up a white-erase board, and left my husband a message.

I rode in the car to Iowa last Sunday.

I donated a toy duck to work.

Iowa is the land of cornfields.

I did stuff this week, but didn’t really take many photos.

Replenished my ponytail collection.

Ate some ice cream.

Met a baby girl.

Attempted to eat a Jurassic Corn Dog at the fair during the Big & Rich Concert.

Notice my flowers died.

Went back to the fair for the Peter Frampton concert.

Took a bokeh photo of the ferris wheel.

Took a bokeh photo of another ride.

Didn't ride any rides.

Love how rides look at night, though.

And went on four dates in one day, to Starbucks, then for Chinese (pictured here), then for a haircut, then to a movie.

I haven’t many to show this week, because I haven’t emptied my memory card into flickr for my Project 365 in a few days.
So, I’ll start with showing off my new clearance shoes!

I love these shoes.

$5 Find

Just for giggles, I made a header banner for my message board out of them.

My 10 year-old sister's new shoes.

Neighbor had new flowers bloom.

I ate kiwi for snack.

Wednesday was our third wedding anniversary. Click the image to read my blog post about it.
OH YEAH, and my brother got a puppy. She’s a basset hound/chocolate lab mix, named Spazzie Mae. She’s cute, but I still think my Wendell is cuter.

She's really lazy.

She snorts when she howls.

And she lets flies sleep on her nose.

Today marks three years since my husband and I have been married.
We, of course, didn’t take (all) of our own wedding photos, we “hired” a friend. But, in honor of our wedding, and of photography, here are a few captures from the best day of our lives so far.

Yes, I wore these on my wedding day.

I honest to goodness did not take anything other than my project 365 photos this week, so I’ll share them. Feel free to look at my collection from last week. They’re much more fun.

I utilized my iTunes giftcard to download some RCHP and AAR, among others.

Ate a white peach.

I accidentally ordered a "Brownie Bladder Blizzard" in the drive-through and laughed so hard I cried.

The sky on Tuesday.

Learned "I Need you to Love Me" on guitar.

Drank some Jones Mixed Soda. It was interesting.
OMG I LIE! I didn’t remember, but last Sunday, my husband and I went to the Air Show in Sioux Falls. And I took a lot of photos there. Here are a few of those, too. The rest can be seen if you click this sentence.

Basic, somewhat random week, I guess.

I drank a Clamato.

I mowed the lawn for the first time, ever.

I drove my own car to work.

I found my book of random and stupid quotations from my college years.

I visited a cross and prayed.

I was reminded to have faith.

I stalked some flowers in my yard.

My husband met one of my cousins for the very first time, and they became best friends.

And, I made myself a ring out of retired acoustic guitar strings.
